Each side of a rhombus is 13 cm and the length of one
diagonal is 24 cm. Find the area of the rhombus.​

Diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other at 90°

Let the first diagonal be of length D=12 cm

Let the other diagonal be of length d

∴13^2=12^2+d^2

d^2=169-144=25

d=5 cm

Area=Dd/2=60/2=30 sq cm
