We have to find a fraction which is as much greater than 4/7 as it is less than 

5/6.

Therefore,

According to the question.

x/1 - 4/7 = 5/6 - x/1

Taking L.C.M. of the denominators of the both sides and then solving it.

⇒ (7x - 4)/7 = (5 - 6x)/6

Now, we will do cross multiplication.

⇒ 42x - 24 = 35 - 42x

⇒ 42x + 42x = 35 + 24

⇒ 84x = 59

⇒ x = 59/84

Therefore, the required fraction is 59/84 which is as much greater than 4/7

and as it is less than 5/6.
