Let x = 0.2545454.....---( 1 )

Multiply equation ( 1 ) with 10, we

get

10x = 2.545454.…..----( 2 )

Multiply equation ( 2 ) with 100 , we

get

1000x = 254.545454....----( 3 )

Subtract equation ( 2 ) from ( 3 ) ,

we get

990x = 252

x = 252/990

x = ( 2 × 3 × 3 × 14 )/( 2 × 3 × 3 × 55 )

After cancellation ,

x = 14/55

Therefore ,

x = 0.2545454... = 14/55 [ p/q form ]

Let X = 0.254

Then X = 0.2545454----------(1)

Multiply equation 1 by 10 we get,

10X = 2.545454----------------(2)

Again multiply equation (2) by 100 we get,

1000X = 254.545454---------(3)

Subtract equation (2) from equation (3) we get,

1000X = 254.545454
10X = 2.545454
_________________

990X = 252

X = 252/990 = 14/55

Hence,

0.254 bar on 54 is in the form of 14/55 which is in the form of P/Q.
