Answer:

Area of a right angled triangle = 1/2 × bh

(i) 1/2 × 24 × 7 = 84 cm sq.

(ii) First , we find its height

(P)2 = (H)2 - (B)2

= (P)2 = (10)2 - (6)2

= 100 - 36 = 64

= P = Under root 64 = 8cm

Therefore, area = 1/2 × 6 × 8 = 24 cm sq.

(iii) First, we find its base

(b)2 = (h)2 - (p)2

= (61)2 - (60)2

= 3,721 - 3600 = 121

= b = Under root 121 = 11cm

So, area = 1/2 × 11 × 60

= 330 cm sq.
