Let a=48cm,b=24cm,c=36cm

Perimeter of the triangle=(48+24+36)cm=108cm

s=1/2(108)=54cm

(s-a)=54-48=6cm,(s-b)=54-24=30cm,(s-c)=54-36=18cm

By Heron's formula,the are of the triangle is-------

 \sqrt{54 \times 6 \times 30 \times 18}

=418.28cm²

The longest side is a=48cm

Let the height be h cm

1/2×48×h=418.28

24h=418.28

h=418.28/24

h=17.4cm
