Given :

Diameter =14 cm , radius = 7cm , π = 22/7

Solution :

Circumference of circle = 2 π r

Circumference of semicircle = π r

= 22/7 ×7

= 22 cm

Figure 2.

Given :

Diameter = 21 cm , Radius = 10.5cm , π = 22/7

Width = 7 cm , Length =21cm

Solution :

Circumference of 2 semicircle = circumference of circle = 2 π r

= 2× π × 10.5

= 21 × 22/7

= 66 cm

Total Circumference of Figure 2 :- 7 + 7 + 66

= 14 + 66

= 80 cm
