Answer:

Answer is 4320.

Step-by-step explanation:

length=8m

b=6m

h=3m

volume of cuboidal pit=l×b×h

=(8×3×6)m cost of digging 1 metre = rs30

cost of digging 144m=(144×30)

=RS4320

therefore, cost of digging the pit is rupees 4320 .

Question :-

   ⇒ Find the cost of digging a cuboidal pit 8 m long,

       6 m  broad and 3 m deep at the rate of 30 per m³

Given :-

   →  Length  =  8m

   →  Breadth = 6m and

   →  Height = 3m

   →  Rate per m² = Rs. 30

To Find :-

   → Cost of digging at the rate of Rs. 30 per m³

Solution :-

   → Total cost  =  Total surface area × 30

   → Total Surface Area

      = 2(lb + bh + hl)

   →  2[ (8×6)  + (6×3) + (3×8) ] ×30

   → 2( 48 + 18 + 24) ×30

   →  2(90) × 30

   →  180 × 30

       ∴     Rs. 5400 is the total cost to dig the pit
