Find LCM of 8, 16, 24, 36, 48 = 144

greatest 5 digit number = 99999

Divide it with 144 the you will get a reminder 63

So to get greatest numbe which is divisible 99999 - 63 = 99936

Now we need the number which leaves 3 as reminder so = 99936 + 3 = 99939 is the greatest 5 digit number
