Answer:

Given,

Radius of a Sphere = 14cm

To Find :-

Surface area of a Sphere

Formula Required :-

surface \: area \: of \: a \: sphere = 4\pi {r}^{2}

where, 'r' is the Radius of a Sphere.

Solution :-

π = \sf\dfrac{22}{7}

r = 14cm. [radius of a Sphere]

Surface Area of a Sphere = \sf 4\times \dfrac{22}{7}\times (14cm)^{2}

= \sf 4\times\dfrac{22}{7}\times 196cm^{2}

[since, \sf 14^{2} = 196 ]

= \sf 4\times 22 \times\dfrac{196cm^{2}}{7}

= \sf 88\times 28cm^{2}

= \sf 2464cm^{2}

\sf\therefore Surface\: Area\:of\:a\:Sphere = 2464cm^{2}

Answer

surface area of sphere=2464cm3

Step-by-step explanation:

surface area of sphere=4πr^2

surface area of sphere=4×22/7×14^2

surface area of sphere=784×22/7

surface area of sphere= 2464cm3

hence surface area of sphere is 2464cm3
