Consider the given equation.

x+3y=6 …….. (1)

2x−3y=12 ……… (2)

On adding both equation (1) and (2), we get

3x=18

x=6

Now, put the value of x in equation (1), we get

6+3y=6

3y=6−6

3y=0

y=0

Hence, the value of x is 6 and y is 0.
