Solution,

Radius of the park = 105 m

Rate of cutting the grass per m² = Rs 5

Area of a circular park = πr²

=\sf{\dfrac{22}{7}\times105\times105}

= 34650 m²

Wages that must be given to a worker for cutting the total grass in the park = Area of of the park x rate

Wages to be given

= 34650 x 5

= Rs 1,73,250

Therefore the wages to be given for cutting the grass is Rs 1,73,250.

Important Formulae : Circles

→ Circumference = 2πr

→ Area = πr²
