Given :

⬤ Sum of three Consecutive Odd Integers is 87 .

To Find :

⬤ Three Consecutive Odd Integers .

Solution :

Let :

  • First Consecutive Odd Integers be = x
  • Second Consecutive Odd Integers be = x+2
  • Third Consecutive Odd Integers be = x+4

Now :

\sf{x+x+2+x+4=87}

3x + 6 = 87

3x = 87 - 6

3x = 81

x = 81/3

x = 27

Therefore , The Value of x is 27 .

Hence ,

First Consecutive Odd Integer = x

= 27

Second Consecutive Odd Integer = x + 2

= 27 + 2

= 29

Third Consecutive Odd Integer = x + 4

= 27 + 4

= 31

Therefore , The Three Consecutive Odd Integers are 27 , 29 and 31 .

Answer:

let the no. be x , x+2, x+2+2 i.e. x + 4( as they are consecutive odd integers and not consecutive 'simple' integers ) read it twice to understand better

so

A.T.Q.

x + x+2 + x+4 = 87

3x + 6 = 87

3x = 81

x = 27

so the remaining two odd consecutive integers are 29 and 31

so the pair is 27+29+31 = 87

( to make you understand it better I would like to tell you that the word 'odd' in the question is just to confuse you if it was to be mentioned or not the answer would be Same)

hope you may got it
