x-2=0

X=2

on the putting value

2⁴ - 2×2³ +3×2²-a×2+8=0

16-2×8+3×4-2a+8=0

16-16+12-2a+8=0

0+12-2a+8=0

12+8-2a =0

20-2a=0

2a = 0-20

2a = -20

a =20/2

a = 10

hope this answer will help you
