• The ratio btw length & perimeter of a rectangular plot is 1:3 .

To find:-

• The ratio btw length & breadth of the plot.

Solution:-

Let the length of rectangle is 'x'.

Then , perimeter will be '3x'.(Acc to ratio 1:3)

We know :

❥ Perimeter = 2(l+b)

Where ,

l=length

b=breadth

According to question:

⇒ 2(l+b)= 3x

⇒ 2x  +2b=3x

⇒ x = 2b

→ Ratio btw length & breadth of plot :-

⇒ Length : breadth = 2b : b

⇒ 2b :b = 2 :1

And we're done !

∴ The ratio btw length & breadth of plot is 2:1.
