Power, P = 1,000,000 erg/min = 1,000,000 dyne-cm/min

Force F = 1000 dynes

Length d = 5/3 cm

Energy E = P x t

E = F x d

So, P x t = F x d

1,000,000 dyne-cm/min x t min = 1000 dyne x 5/3cm

t min = (1000 dyne x 5/3 cm) /1,000000 dyne-cm/min

t sec = (1000 x 5/3) x 60/1,000,000 = 100,000/1,000,000 = 0.1sec
