In parallelogram ABCD

AD=BC=7.5 cm

AB=CD=10 cm

AN=8 cm

Area of parallelogram= Base×height

Using the formula

Area of parallelogram ABCD=

BC × AN=7.5

BC×AN => 7.5×8=60cm²

Again, area of parallelogram ABCD=AB CM=10 CMAB×CM=10×CM

60=10×CM

CM=60/10 = 6 cm

CM = 6cm

Hence, the altitude CM=6 cm

CM = 6cm

Hence, the altitude CM=6 cm
