as AB is parallel to CE

lambda*C = ECA = 75 { alternate interior angles }

ACD = 75 + 40 = 115

ACD=BAC+ - C * BA (exterior angle}

115 = 75 + CBA

CBA = 40

A + B + C = 180

75 + 40 + C = 180

C = 180 + 115 = 65.
