AE = CE

2y = 26 cm

y = 26 cm/2

y = 13 cm

Also, in a parallelogram opp. sides are equal, Therefore

AB = DC

2x + 6 = 3x - 10

6 + 10 = 3x - 2x

16 = x

Therefore

x = 16 cm

y = 13 cm
