No! it's not necessary. The sum of any 2 angles of a triangle, may be equal, greater or shorter than the third angle.

Like… out of 3 angles of triangle ( 50°, 30°, 100°)

50° + 30° < 100°

100° + 30° > 50°

100° + 50° > 30°

& 60deg + 30deg = 90deg

BUT, the sum of any 2 sides of a triangle is always > third side.
