7 Length and breadth of a rectangular field are 23m and 14 m respectively. Find

i.barbed wire required to fence the field.

i. Barbed wire required = perimeter

therefore, perimiter = 2(l+b)

= 2(23m+14m)

=2 X 37m

=74m

ii. Area = l x b

= 23m x 14m

= 322 metre square
