Length of tank = 25 m

Breadth of tank = 20 m

Height of tank = 10 m

Total surface area of tank =

2(lb+bh+hl) = 2( 25×20+20×10+10×25) = 1900sq.m

Cost of painting 1 sq.m. = Rs.3

Cost of painting 1900 sq.m. =

₹(1900×3)= 5700rps

Hence the cost of painting its outer surface at rupees 3 per square metre is Rs.5700

hope it helps....^_^
