the female silk moth lays eggs when the egg hatched at any caterpillar cross out this is the silkworm the silkworm feeds on leaves and cruise when it is ready to enter next stage in it is life cycle it is first waves a net to hold itself then its secrets a fibre made of protein which hardens on exposure to air this is this silk fibre it covers itself completely with the fibre to form a cocoon at this stage the larva is called pupa the pupa grows and changes inside the cocoon a few weeks later the cocoon open and adult what's come out this silk is obtained from the cocoon of the silkworm ((PLEASE MARK ME AS A BRAINLIST))
