Since no two women can come together while selecting 7 people from 15 (12 men & 3 women), there will be two possibilities: (i) Selecting 7 men only from 12 and (ii) Selecting 6 men (from 12) and 1 woman (from 3). And the corresponding selections are C(12,7) & C(12,6) C(3, 1) respectively i.e. 792 & 2772. Hence, the required selection is 792+2772=3564.
