7 men and 3 women complete the work together in 10 days. 8 men and 2 women complete the same work In 8 days. How much work can be done by 10 men in one day?

then

(7x+3y)*10=w-------(1)

and (8x+2y)*8=w------(2)

from (1) and (2)

70x+30y=64x+16y

6x=14y

y=6x/14=3x/7

70x+30y=w

70x+30*3x/7=w

x/7(490+90)=w

580x/7=w

x=w.7/580

work done by 10 man  10*w*7/580=7w/58

So 10 man can complete in one day the 7/58th part of work
