8.Length of tile = 25 cm

Breadth of tile = 20 cm

Area  \: of \:  tile = Length \times Breadth = 25 \times 20 = 500 cm^2

1 m = 100 cm

Length of floor = 12 m = 1200 cm

Breadth of floor = 9m = 900 cm

Area of floor =Length \times Breadth = 1200 \times 900 = 1080000

7 and 9 are in image

No.  \: of \:  tiles  \: required = \frac{1080000}{500}

Hence 2160 tiles are required to cover floor.
