Explanation:

Electronic configuration

Nitrogen = 1s^22s^22p^3

phosphorous = 1s^22s^22p^63s^23p^3

Out of Nitrogen and phosphorous , nitrogen is more electronegative than phosphorous as electronegativity increases across the period and decreases down the group.

Atomic size increases down the group due to increase in number of shells and decreases across the period due to increase in effective nuclear charge

Hence phosphorous is larger in size than nitrogen

Hope this helps!!!!
