Correct Question:-

  1. Ramu Purchased a bicycle $1200. He sold it for $1800. Find his gain or loss price?

Required answer:-

  • Gain/profit price = $600

To find,

  • whether it is gain/profit or loss?

Given that:-

  • Cost price (C.P) = $1200
  • Selling price(S.P) = $1800

Let,

  • The gain or loss price of the bicycle be (y)

Formula to be used,

  • Gain = S.P - C.P

Solution:-

 Let the gain be (x)

x = $1800 - $1200

x = $600

Therefore, the gain price on Ramu's bicycle is $600
