7. Read the given story and do the exercises that follow it :
Once Akbar asked Birbal to make a good painting within a week.
Birbal accepted that he was not a good painter. However, Akbar insisted
him to paint.
Birbal thought of an idea and after a week, he reached the court
with his painting. Akbar was happy to see him but on seeing his painting
he was angry. The painting had ground with grass in green and sky in
blue colour. Akbar asked him as to what the painting was about. Birbal
answered that the cow was eating the grass. When the Emperor enquired
as to where the cow was, he quickly replied that the cow had eaten the
grass and gone to its shed so we cannot see it. There were peels of laughter
in the court. Akbar praised his sense of wit and humour.
