To find :

• How much did he pay for the TV

According to the question :

Marked Price of the TV set (MRP) = ₹ 30,000

Discount in Rupees for the TV,

⟹ 30,000 - ( 30,000 × 10 / 100 )

⟹ 30,000 - 3000

⟹ 27,000

GST in Rupees for the TV,

⟹ 27,000 + ( 27,000 × 12 / 100 )

⟹ 27,000 + 3240

⟹ ₹ 30,240

Amount paid by him :

⟹ Rs. 30, 240

Riyaz paid Rs. 30,240 for the TV set.
