Solution:

Draw a line segment AB = 7 cm

Draw an acute angle BAX  

Using suitable compass compass starting from A cut the ray AX at equal distance one by one

labelling point as A₁ ,A₂ ,A₃ ,A₄ and A₅

Join A₅ with B  using a straight line

Draw a line parallel to A₅B passing through A₃ and intersecting AB at M

M divided AB in 3 : 2 ratio
