onam is the harvest festival of kerala.kerala people used to celebrate onam in a very unique manner . they starts their preparations and celebrations ten dats before . the last and main day is known by a term " thiruvonam" . the other nine days are attam , chittira, chodi , vishakam, anizham , thrikketa , moolam pooradam and othradam. on these days people put pookalams on their courtyards
