a(b+c)=ab+ac

(a) (-7) x 5 + (-7) x 12

= -7(5+12)=-35-84

= -119

(b) 27 x (-8) + 27 X (-10)

= 27(-8-10)=-216-270

=-486

=-35-84

=-119
