=(7 sin2 theta +3cos2 theta)/cos2 theta=4/cos2 theta

=7 tan2 theta + 3 = 4/cos2 theta

=7tan2 theta - 4 sec2 theta + 3 =0

=7tan2 theta -4(1+tan2 theta) + 3=0

=7tan2 theta -4 -4tan2 theta + 3=0

= 3tan2 theta -1 = 0

= 3tan2 theta=1

= tan2 theta =1/3

= tan theta= 1/ root over 3

hence,proved.

ratishrajanmolraj: Only prove 1/3
ratishrajanmolraj: Not under root.
priya4565: and see second step how sin can be written in tan
samalok09: there would be 1/root over 3 as if there would have been only 1/3 then in the ques it should be 9 cos2 theta
samalok09: in the second step 7 sin2 theta is divided by cos2 theta that's why its been written as tan2 theta
