Answer:

x + 2x (3y - y) = 20

3x * 2y = 20

x * y = 20 /3 * 2.

Answer

let x-3y=20 be equation (1) & y-2x=0 be (2)

from eqn. (1),

=》x-3y=20

=》 x=20+3y

put it in eqn (2),we get

=》y-2(20+3y)=0

=》 y-40-6y=0

=》 -5y=40

=》 y= -40/5

=》 y= -8

put value of y in eqn (1), we get

=》x-3(-8)=20

=》 x+24=20

=》 x=20-24

=》 x= -4

therefore.value of x = -4 and value of y = -8
