7 state a different between the wire used in the element of an electric heater and in a fuse wire

Explanation:

In electric heaters the metal which is used has a high resistence so that the resistance is converted into heat energy

so the metal which is used should have a high melting such that it doesn't melt to a large extend

but in fuse wire the used element should have a low melting point such that it should melt when over load occurs.. So it should be low melting pointed element

hope it helps....

Answer:

Explanation:

1) the wire used in the electric heater has very high melting point  and low resistivity

2) the wire used in fuse has low melting point and high resistivity.since  it has to melt to break the circut if overloading occurs.

hope it helps u
