a) The sum of the two distances he has thrown.
b) The difference in the two distances he has thrown.​

a) The sum of the distances he has thrown

= 27.29 + 29.72

=57.01 m

b) The difference of the distances he has thrown

= 29.72 - 27.29

= 2.43 m
