7. The angles of a quadrilateral are (5x)°, (3x + 10)°, (6x - 20)° and (x + 25)°. Find (i) the value of x
and (ii) the measure of each angle of the quadrilateral.

Answer:

(i) Total angle sum of quadrilateral = 360°

So,

5x + 3x + 10 + 6x - 20 + x + 25 = 360°

15x + 15 = 360°

15x = 345°

x = 345/15

x = 23°

(ii) 5x = 5 x 23 = 115°

3x + 10 = 3 x 23 + 10 = 79°

6x -20 = 6 x 23 - 20 = 118°

x + 25 = 23 + 25 = 48°
