Given :

⬤ Base and Height of Triangle are in the Ratio 4:3 .

⬤ Area of Triangle is 150 cn².

To Find :

⬤ Base and Height of Triangle.

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Area \: of \: Triangle = \dfrac{1}{2} \times{b} \times{h}\:]}

  • b = base
  • h = height

Solution :

Let :

  • Base of Triangle be 4x .
  • Height of Triangle be 3x .

According to the Formula :-

150 = 1/2 × b × h

150 = 1/2 × 4x × 3x

150 = 1/2 × 12x²

150 × 2 = 12x²

300 = 12x²

300/12 = x²

25 = x²

√25 = x

5 = x

Therefore , The Value of x is 5.

Hence ,

Base of Triangle = 4x

= 4(5)

= 20

Height of Triangle = 3x

= 3(5)

= 15

Therefore , The Base of Triangle is 20 cm and Height of Triangle is 15 cm.

Check :

150 = 1/2 × b × h

150 = 1/2 × 20 × 15

150 = 1/2 × 300

150 = 150

Hence Checked .
