Answer:

Hey friend

Here is your answer

Given that perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square____(1)

perimeter of a rectangle = 2( l + b )

l = 18m , b = 12m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( 18 + 12 )

=> 2(30) = 60m

But from equation (1)

Perimeter of a square = 60m

4s = 60

=> s = 60/4 = 15m

Side of the square = 15m

Perimeter of rectangle=2(L+B)

=2(18+12)

=2(30)

=60cm

Perimeter of square=4a=60

=a=60/4

=a=15

Therefore side of square is equal to 15cm .
