7. The length, breadth, and height of a hall are 4 m, 4.5 m, and 4.75 m, respectively.
This hall has one window measuring 1 m by 1.5 m and a door measuring 1 m by 3.5 m. Find

Answer:

This should help you:

Step-by-step explanation:

solu;

here,

measures of hall:

length(l)=4m

breadth(b)=4.5m

height(h)=4.75m

Area of 4 walls=2h(l+b)

                        =2*4.75(4+4.5)

                        =9.5(8.5)

                        =80.75 m^2 (meter square)

measures of window:

length(l)=1m

breadth(b)=1.5m

Area of window= l*b

                          =1*1.5

                          =1.5 m^2 (meter square)

measures of door:

length(l)=1m

breadth(b)=3.5m

Area of door=l*b

                    =1*3.5

                    =3.5 m^2 (meter square)

now,

Area of 4 walls eliminating door and window= Area of 4 walls- Area of window-Area of door

                                                                          =80.75-1.5-3.5

                                                                          =75.75 m^2 (meter square)

again,

we have,

cost of painting 4 walls per meter square= 75 Rs/ m^2

Then,

total cost of painting 4 walls= 75*75.75

                                              =5681.25 Rs
