Let the width of the rectangle be=X
Let the lenght of the rectangle be=X+1
Perimeter=50=2(X+X+1)
50=2(2X+1)
Take 2 on the other side of equal to so it will be divided on another side
50/2=2X+1
25=2X+1
Now take 1 on the other side so it will be subtracted
25-1=2X
24=2X
Now take 2 on the other side of equal to so it will be divided on another side
24/2=X
12=X=breadth
So X+1=13=lenght
