Step-by-step explanation:

Let breadth be x

thus length is 3x+2

perimeter=2(x+3x+2)=2(4x+2)=8x+4

New breadth=x+3

New length=3x+5

New perimeter=2(x+3+3x+5)

=8x+16

the new perimeter is 2 times the original

2(8x+4)=8x+16

16x+8=8x+16

8x=8

x=1

Breadth=1

Length=3×1+2=5

Hope everything is clear.
