Let be the breadth=X, length=X+2

given perimeter=196

perimeter=2(l+b)=196

=2[(X+2)+X]=196

=2[2x+2]=196

4x+4=196

4x=196-4

X=194÷4

=48.5

breadth=48.5

length=48.5+2=50.5

Answer:

Let the breadth be b m

then it's length (2+b)m

perimeter is 196 m

2 (l+b)

2 (2+b+b)=196

2+2b=196/2

2+2b=98m

2b=98-2

2b=96

b=48m

then l=2+b=2+48=50m
