7. The monthly salary of a school teacher in 2007 was 12000. It increased by 10℅ in 2008 and again 10℅ in 2009. What is his salary in 2009?

The salary in 2008 is increased 10% of 12000 .
that is 1200
the salary in 2009 is increased 20% of 12000.
That is 2400.
the salary in 2009 is 12000 +2400 = rs 14,400.
