Answer:

perimeter of rectangle=130cm

2(length+breadth)=130cm

2(l+30)=130cm

2l+60=130cm

2l=130-60

2l=70

l=70/2

l=35cm

area of rectangle=length×breadth

= 35×30 cm

= 1050 cm

Correct Question :

The Perimeter of a Rectangle is 130 cm. If the breadth of the rectangle is 30 cm . Find its Length. Also Find the Area of the Rectangle.

Given :

⬤ Perimeter of Rectangle = 130 cm

⬤ Breadth of Rectangle = 30 cm

To Find :

⬤ Length of Rectangle .

⬤ Area of Rectangle .

Formula Used :

\sf[\:{Perimeter\:of\:Rectangle=2(l+b)}\:]

Solution :

  • Perimeter = 130 cm
  • Breadth = 30 cm
  • Length = ?

According to the Formula :

130 = 2 (l + 30)

130/2 = l + 30

65 = l + 30

65 - 30 = l

35 = l

Therefore , The Length of the Rectangle is 35 cm .

Formula Used :

\sf[\:{Area\:of\:Rectangle=l\times{b}\:]}

Now :

According to the Formula :

35 × 30

1050

Therefore , The Area of Rectangle is 1050 cm² .
