As A has invested 3x for period of 6y time.

Similarly B has invested 2x for period of 7y time.

Then simply the profit can be divided as

(Time*period) of A : (Time*period) of B

18xy : 14xy

I.e. 9:7

Hence, profit should be divided in the ratio of 9:7
