Answer:

Let the rational between the present ages of Ram and Gopal be x

The ratio of the ages of Ram and Gopal is 3:4.

Hence Ram's present age is 3x yrs and Gopal's present age is 4x yrs.

The difference between their ages after two years will be 10.

After 2 yrs Ram’s and Gopal’s age will be (3x + 2) yrs. and (4x + 2) . Accordingly difference in their ages

(4x + 2) - (3x + 2) = 10

4x + 2 - 3x - 2 = 10

4x - 3x = 10 – 2 + 2

x = 8 + 2

x = 10

The rational is 10, therefore their present ages

Present age of Ram, 3x = 3 × 10 = 30 yrs.

Present age of Gopal 4x = 4 × 10= 40 years

Answer present age of Ram is 30 years and present age of Gopal is 40 years.

Step-by-step explanation:

AnswEr

Given Ratio of the ages of Ram and Gopal is 3 : 4.

Let's Consider that Age of the Ram be 3x

And, Age of the Gopal be 4x.

⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀ \underline{\boldsymbol{According\: to \:the\: Question :}}

The difference between their ages after two years will be 10.

Age of Ram = (3x + 2)

Age of Gopal = (4x + 2)

:\implies\sf (4x + 2) - (3x + 2) = 10 \\\\\\:\implies\sf 4x - 3x + \cancel{2} - \cancel{ 2} = 10 \\\\\\:\implies\boxed{\frak{\purple{x = 10}}}

⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Substituting the Value of x in the ages of Ram & Gopal :

\bigstar Ram's Age :

:\implies\sf3(10)\\\\\\:\implies\boxed{\frak{\pink{30}}}

\bigstar Gopal's Age :

:\implies\sf 4(10)\\\\\\:\implies\boxed{\frak{\pink{40}}}

\therefore Age of Ram is 30 years & Age of Gopal is 40 years.
