To Find:-

  • Find length of each side.

Solution:-

Given,

  • Sides of triangle are in ratio od 3 : 2 : 4.
  • The perimeter of triangle is 27cm.

We know that

Perimeter of triangle = Sum of all sides of traingle.

3x + 2x + 4x = 27

9x = 27

x = 27/9

\boxed{\bf{\color{yellw}{ \: x \:  =  \: 3 \: }}}

Now,

Substitute x in the value to get the length of the sides of traingle.

3x = 3( 3 ) ⇒ 9

2x = 2( 3 ) ⇒ 6

4x = 4( 3 ) ⇒ 12

Verification:-

3x + 2x + 4x = 27

9 + 6 + 12 = 27

27 = 27

ANSWER:

  • Value of 3x = 9cm
  • Value of 2x = 6cm
  • Value of 4x = 12cm

SOLUTION:

TO FIND:

The length of each side of triangle

First Let sides 3 : 2 : 4 of the triangle be 3x , 2x , 4x

_______________

As given the perimeter of the triangle is 27 cm

Perimeter of triangle = sum of all sides or 3 × sides

3x + 2x + 4x = 27 cm

9x = 27 cm

x = \frac{27}{7}

x = 3 cm

So , the value of x = 3 xm

.°. The value of 3x = 3(3) = 9cm

the value of 2x = 2(3) = 6cm

and the value of 4x = 4(3) = 12cm

_______________

So , 1st side = 9cm

2nd side = 6cm

3rd side = 12cm

_______________

Let's check!

3x + 2x + 4x = 27cm

9 + 6 + 12 = 27

27 = 27

LHS = RHS
