let the numerator be x.

denominator=2x+4

the number=x/(2x+4)

(x+3)/(2x+4+3)=2/3

(x+3)/(2x+7)=2/3

3(x+3)=2(2x+7)

3x+9=4x+14

9-14=4x-3x

-5=x

x=-5

the number=-5/[2×(-5)+4]

=-5/-6

=5/6

Priyank8114: sry. but the ans is 5/9
