so

-3/10+X=-11/17

(by transposition method)

X=-11/7+3/10

Find LCM of 7 and 10 which is 70

now make denominators same

-11*10/7*10 and 3*7/10*7

-110+21/70

=(+ and - is always - and sign of greater number comes)

-89/70
